July is a big month for family reunions in
Myrtle Beach. We cater lots of them in various locations around the
Grand Strand area. The photos below are of the Patch family at one of
our catered cookouts in McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach. McLean Park
is a public park and is perfect for a function such as this. Go to our
“Venue” page for a direct link to the City of North Myrtle Beach.
This family had their act together better than
most families we’ve seen so far. Each line of descendants had their own
matching colors with the Patch Family logo embroidered on each shirt
pocket. The photo below shows Kurt and Krista Saturnia, the reunion
organizers, working with the children. Kurt is the child in the lobster
hat. We can also supply custom imprinted or embroidered shirts with
your own family name or logo at very reasonable prices. Just ask us
when you call. Having us cater your reunion with fresh
hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken and barbeque right off the grill is the
ticket for a successful family reunion. Everybody raves about our
grilled chicken because they’re not used to getting it so fresh. Our
hamburgers and hotdogs are accompanied with a full compliment of
lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, relish, mustard, catsup, mayonaise
all-meat chili and potato chips. The meal is served with baked beans,
cajun rice, potato salad, coleslaw, dinner rolls, iced tea and
lemonade. Of course we supply the plates, cups, utensils, napkins,
salt, pepper and even the toothpicks.
Here’s another family reunion we catered this
week. The fun thing about reunions is that there is such a mixture of
young and old, rich and poor and they all love each other. Here are the
progenitors of this family. The elders.
Here are the vibrant ones in the family. Even
the elders were this young and energetic at one time. This photo was
taken at an ocean front cottage at 47th Ave. North in the Cherry Grove
section of North Myrtle Beach
Our first catering event in August was also a
family reunion. This is the Fistek Family from Cleveland, Ohio and
Richmond, VA. It was held at the very private and prestigious Maison
Sur Mer in the Shore Drive area of Myrtle Beach.
The whole family posed for this photo with the
Atlantic Ocean in the background. A tropical depression was blowing in
on this day but we were spared the heavy rains that usually accompany
these depressions. July and August are unpredictable months.
This is the Tyler family with roots in Georgia
but like most families, scattered all over the country. This reunion
was held at Myrtle Beach State Park on July 15, 2006. These are the girls that put everything together
for the Tyler Family Reunion so that the rest of the family could enjoy
a well planned week in Myrtle Beach. Thank you Sandra Thomas, from
Stone Mountain, Georgia, we enjoyed catering to your family.
This is not a family reunion per se, but a
reunion of friends from the Pittsburg area. Mike and Marie Marino and
about 70 of their friends and families gather in Myrtle Beach every
July for a “Reunion”. This was catered at the Lands End Vacation Resort
near the Hilton Hotel.
This is the Sweredoski family on a windswept Saturday afternoon at Plantation Lakes clubhouse.
